ReVision
VIBE is in the process of re-visioning our core values, beliefs and what it means to be in partnership. However, WE NEED YOUR VOICE to make this happen! Meetings are going to be taking place this February in every VIBE congregation to get your input and feedback on what this means. Please contact your pastor to figure out when this meeting will take place in your church.
March 16th - VIBE leaders will gather to process all of this information into a new mission/vision statement for VIBE.
April 20th - VIBE stakeholders will meet to make critique the new mission/values statement.
May 20th - The Board will meet to approve the mission/values statement.

Devotions
God Pause - Taken from the Luther Seminary Website
My daughter Sarah was exactly four months old one Christmas Eve, when I held her in my arms to preach my Christmas sermon, "A Message to Sarah about Christmas." Holding my own baby, I was filled with the wonder of present joy and future hope and I had so much to tell her about our present future in Christ.
As Simeon cradled the baby Jesus in his arms, he knew he was holding God's promises for Israel's salvation. Yet he said something I find incredible: "Master, now you are dismissing your servant in peace, according to your word; for my eyes have seen your salvation ..." It was enough for him to hold the promise and know that salvation was here. In Jesus he had peace!
Sometimes we can't see where things are leading. Often we can only cradle God's promises, without seeing exactly how God is going to work salvation in our lives. Like Simeon, may we find peace in Jesus Christ and trust that our salvation is sure.
Gracious God, give me the grace to trust that salvation has come in you, for me and for all. Amen.
